In short
- We keep what the app needs to run your account: an account id, your profile, your wallet addresses and your activity.
- Your email or social login stays with our login provider. We do not store it.
- We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking across sites, and we never sell your data.
- Blockchain transactions are public by nature, and your profile and trades can be public too (you can hide your trades).
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at [email protected].
1. Who is responsible
FastSwap is responsible for your personal data (the “controller”). Contact: [email protected].
2. What we store
- Your account: the user id our login provider gives your account, when you joined, your invite code and who invited you, if anyone.
- Your profile: your username, your profile photo if you add one, who you follow, the coins on your watchlist, and your “Hide my trades” setting.
- Your wallets: the addresses of your app wallets, and a signed proof that your account controls them (a “wallet binding”).
- Your activity: your trades, deposits, conversions to cash and withdrawals (coins, amounts, prices, costs, transaction ids), the addresses you withdraw to, your cross-chain orders and the share cards you create.
- Your content: what you post, such as comments on coin pages once that feature is available.
- Invite links: sign-ups and trading volume that came through your link. Clicks on a link are only counted per day: nothing about the person who clicked is kept.
- Technical data: your IP address and basic request details (such as the page and the browser) in our server logs and in the logs of the network that delivers and protects the website. We use IP addresses to protect the service, for example to limit how often an address can make requests. When you ask for a Tron deposit address, a scrambled form of your IP address is stored with it for two days, to limit how many addresses one connection can request.
- Messages: what you send us when you email support, with the email address you write from.
We do not store the email address you log in with, your Google, Apple or X account, or your private keys. Our login provider keeps your login details and secures your app wallets. We do not ask for identity documents.
3. Why we use it
- To provide FastSwap (our contract with you): your account, balances, trades, deposits, withdrawals, profile and invites.
- To keep it safe (our legitimate interest): preventing abuse, fraud and attacks, enforcing limits and our Terms.
- To answer you when you contact support, and to tell you about important changes.
- To meet legal obligations, for example accounting rules or a lawful request from an authority.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similar effects.
4. What is public
- Blockchains are public. Anyone can see a wallet’s address, balance and transactions. This cannot be changed or deleted, by us or anyone.
- Your profile (username, photo, followers and who you follow) can be seen by others in FastSwap.
- Your trades and coins show on your profile, in your followers’ feeds and in “friends who hold” lists, unless you turn on “Hide my trades” in Settings.
- Your invite code, with how many people signed up and traded through it, can appear on the public “Top inviters” board once people have joined through your link.
- Share cards and comments can be seen by anyone who has the link or opens the coin page.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your data, except records we must keep by law (for example for accounting) or to deal with a dispute or abuse. Logs are kept for a short time for security and troubleshooting. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis. Data on a blockchain stays there for good.
8. Where it is processed
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see your data, get a copy of it, correct it, delete it, or object to or limit how we use it. Email [email protected] with your username; we may ask you to show that the account is yours before we act. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Security
We protect data with encrypted connections, limited access and the security of our providers. No system is perfectly secure: protect your login, and never share your private key.
11. Children
FastSwap is only for people aged 18 or older. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we close it and delete its data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will tell you in the app about important changes.
